Three men I’ve admired for a long time. Front and center is Lee, Waynes father. Wayne is Matt’s grandfather. In the 4 generations represented here, there are differences, but more importantly there are similarities. Aside from similar appearance, they’re all good, hard working men, with kind hearts, and fun loving spirits. Lee is wearing an Army Commendation Medal on his hat, along with his Master Sergeant rank. His hand is laying on a (covered) picture of his late wife, whom he cherishes to this day, as he has for  decades. I didn’t really see it when I took the picture, but on the piano in the background there is a photo of my father, Leo (click the picture to enlarge). This is one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken at any family event.

It was 35? out and would only warm 10? in the next three hours. This photo was taken from a handlebar mounted iPhone 4S. This photo is was taken in almost the same place as the railroad track at the top of this blog, just after the bend in the tracks. The tracks were 5 years ago. The bike trail was built in 2011.
