My string trimmer cut into a concealed ant bed and about 75 pissed off ants hit my legs at about 75 miles per hour. Luckily they were dazed enough I got most of them off before they could attack. I received enough bites to convince me to wear long pants when using my string trimmer from now on. It’s on page 4 of the user manual, but they didn’t warn about ants, only flying debris.
