The iPhone camera is not as good as most digital cameras, but it’s not bad compared to other phone cams. There’s a well done article about the iPhone camera on Roughly Drafted Magazine, that actually covers a lot about digital cameras in general.

All that aside, the ease of use, portability, availability, and the ability to instantly share, make the little camera really fun to use. Sites and apps are easy to find for iPhone cam fans.

I’m getting that itch, the kind only a new computer will fix. I don’t know why it’s presenting just now, (that’s “House speak”) when I really can’t afford it. On the other hand — maybe that is precisely why. By George, I believe that’s it! The unobtanium factor! Yet, for that to even be a factor there must be a hope of obtaining it!

Think about it for one or two seconds. I want a 250 350 500 foot yacht with a full staff, especially with skilled chefs that will prepare gourmet (but very healthy) food 24/7. I want it to have a helipad so I can fly there in my helicopter from the airport where I just arrived in my Gulf Stream jet that I boarded in Boulder, Colorado after a leisurely drive from my mountain mansion to the airport in my Pagani Zonda Roadster F C12S 7.3 Clubsport Toyota Prius (because I’m so green) … etc… you see, I may want that but I don’t ever think about it. For me it’s just not going to happen.

On the other hand, 2 or 3 grand is a lot, but not totally unobtainable, just temporarily unobtainable. Even typing those words gives me hope.

Know what I want? [jj glances quickly over shoulder then continues] I’m speaking in a whisper now – yes whispers are represented as pink, or some shades of purple and mauve may qualify. Any way, I digress. I am whispering because I think I want a Mac and I’m not sure if I want everyone to know just yet. Heck, I’ve got to read up on it. I’ve got a lot of questions, like, do I need Birkenstocks before or after I buy a Mac? Does Apple Kool-Aid come in the box or will I be using my sleek, elegant, and exceptionally manly MacBook Pro to order it online… does iTunes sell it?

So many questions, I feel a little vulnerable. I don’t want one of those little baby Macs either – I want that big bad honkin 17″ aluminum uni-body MacBook Pro.

I have always loved Ellen, she is so smart and entertaining. She’s easily my favorite lesbian. She and I share the exact same birthday, so maybe that’s why I feel so kindred to her.
